LOCAL, BODY NOTICES BOROUGH OF NEWMARKET. THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1926. PROPOSED LOAN OF £9000 FOR WATERWORKS PURPOSES. The Newmarket Borough Council, having obtained the necessary sanction of the Local Government Loans Board to the above-named loan, hereby gives notice In pursuance of the provisions ol Section 10 of the above-mentioned Aet:— 1. That the purpose for which the loan is required is the replacement and cleaning and relining of water mains in the Borough. 2. That the Newmarket Borough Council, being unable to provide the necessary funds for this purpose out of its ordinary revenue, proposes to borrow a sum not exreeding £9000. 3. That the proposed security for the said loan shall be a special rate of one and one-third pence (1 l-3d) in the £ on the annual value 1 of all the rateable property in the Borough of Newmarket. 4. The currency of such loan shall be for a period of twenty-two (22) years, and provision made for a sinking fund of not less than three and one-fifth (3 1-5) per centum per annum. 5. The Newmarket Borough Council proposes to pay out of such loan such costs, charges and expenses as the Council may determine to have been actually incurred in connection with such loan, but not the interest and sinking fund thereon for the first year.
