TORPEDOED MERCANTILE OFFICER'S EXPERIENCE This letter, written from Bristol, has just been received from an officer in our marvellous Mercantile Navy. These are his actual words:— " 'Baxters' has for the last seven years been a vital part t of my sea kit and has eased and finally cured many a bad cold I have had on my chest. "Only IS months-ago, after being torpedoed in the North Altantic in midwinter, X caught a very bad cold, which went to my chest. Having lost all my gear, I had no 'Baxters' and tried many other medicines obtainable in England \Wthout result, and finally put to sea. I made a long voyage through the tropics but could not shake off the cold. "On returning to England I received a bottle of 'Baxters' from home, and within a week my cold was under control. I have therefore placed one of your bottles in my emergency lifeboat bag just in case it might be needed again." A wonderful tribute to a wonderful remedy. The writer of this letter is one of thousands of New Zealanders who have found that Baxters Lung Preserver is the most reliable cough remedy, and well worth a place in every kit and in every medicine cupboard.
