NEW BROKEN HILL PROJECT
New Broken Hill Consolidated, Limited, was almost at the point of [Jutting into force the joint production scheme, as agreed with Zinc Corporation, Limited, the directors reported to the annual meeting in London. The increasingly severe drain on manpower for war purposes might necessitate some modifications. Major production was not expected for some time, but alternative methods whereby the position between the two companies could be fairly adjusted would be considered Development work indicated that hopes of the area being profitably productive would be realised.
