QUIET REOPENING Business reopened quietly on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day, with quotations generally firm on closing levels. Offers were forward for Colonial Sugars and A.C.I, at the late sale prices, while the keen demand for New Zealand industrials was well maintained. Buyers dropped out for Auckland Gas "on the announcement of a reduced dividend over the full year. Government issues were quietly steady.
