CROOK. Gunner Ronald " Clarence.—Killed in action overseas. Beloved son of Mrs F and the late Mr. B. Crook. Wellington, and dear nephew of S. C. and M. Crook. St. Mary's Road, Ponsonby. and cousin of Lauri. Syd and Shirley. / His duty nobly done. TAYLOR, Lieutenant Arthur E.—Killed in action Dearly loved son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Taylor Mount Roskill. WEIK, Corporal A. McK. (Mac).—Died of pneumonia, military hospital Italy; aged 28 years. Dearly beloved eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Weir, Gilfillan Street, Avondale South, and loving brother of Bill (overseas. R.A.F.). Jimmie (overseas, R.N.Z.A.F.), Dorothy and Nancy. He gave his life on freedom's altar. Laurel - wreathed.
