FOR SERVICE MEN
—■- m NEW LOUNGE IN CITY In a further effort to meet the needs of the men of the armed services when on leave in the city, the Young Men's Christian Association has converted its large concert hall into a drawing room lounge. The attractive decorations and furnishings have been made possible by the generosity of a number of business men and firms of Auckland. It is hoped the men on leave will make use of the lounge for spending part of their leisure in a pleasant and homely environment. Every Sunday evening a tea will be provided by the ladies of various churches, and this will be followed by a programme of entertainment which will embody all the atmosphere of a Christian home.
