Mr. Churchill, Reviews Troops In Tripoli NEW ZEALANDERS PRAISED (Rec. 2 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 5. On a visit to the Eighth Army, the British Prime Minister, Mr. Churchill, arrived by air at the Castel Benito aerodrome, south of Tripoli, on Wednesday, and was met by General Sir Harold Alexander, Com-mander-in-Chief of the' British Forces in.the Middle East, and.General Sir Bernard Montgomery, Commander of the Eighth Army, who entertained him at their headquarters. Mr. Churchill visited the port of Tripoli • yesterday and reviewed a large parade of troops and armoured vehicles. He expressed the gratitude of Great Britain and the Allies to the Eighth Army for their feat of arms in driving the Axis forces out of Egypt and Libya, making reference to the ■ good spearhead work done by the New Zealand Division. The Prime Minister left this morning for a destination which Was not stated.
