NEW U.S. VESSELS
TOTAL OP 106 IN JANUARY British Official Wireless Rec. 11 a.m.. RUGBY, Feb. 5. The United States Maritime Commission announced that American shipyards in January produced 106 vessels of various types, totalling 1,008,400 tons. This output was 15 fewer vessels than in December because of steel delays in completing certain equipment and severe weather in the northern states. It was, however, the second successive month in which shipping totalling more than 1,000,000 tons was constructed.
