Arthur Gibson Osborne, son of Mr. A. G. Osborne, M.P. for Onehunga, who has received a commission in the R.N.Z.A.F. and been posted to the Middle East. Pilot-Officer Osborne left N.Z. in April, 1941. On his arrival in England he was posted to the 75th Bomber Squadron. He was an Ellerslie League footballer and in the Waitemata Rowing Club. His only brother, Private Gordon Osborne, was killed in the first Libyan battle last December.
