We are the Tuberculosis Aftercare Committee, a branch of the Auckland Hospital Auxiliary, the body offieiallv recognised by the Hospital Board (Hospital Grounds. Park Road). Taking over this side gf the work we. lor the past five years, have visited the Shelters at Green Lane and at the Public Hospital in an endeavour to cheer and help the sick and needy. We have supplied many essential needs such as cardigans, woollen underwear and dressing gowns, and in many cases extra blankets, and we have distributed literally thousands of bags of sweets and magazines, also marmalade and when we could get it.
