FROM PACER TO TROTTER
Two three-year-olds, transferred from the New Zealand Derby to the Trotting Stakes are reported to have shown the greatest promise, and one, the colt by Quite Sure from Roydon's Pride, is a brother to the great young trotter Certissimus, whose death occurred last season. Miss Cuff's colt by Quite Sure from Biddy Parrlsh, 2.8J, is also bred the right way, for Biddy Parrish was one of the best of many good trotters trained by W. J. Tomkinson. The Juvenile trotter hns alre.irly shown speed in his trials. Tasman Flight, the dam of C. Cameron's voting trotter, was a useful performer Mime years at[o when trained by L. F. Bcrkett, and other mares represented include well-known performers in Ingle Blngen and First Wrack, while Fantine Is an American mare Imported by Mr. S. W. Kelly.
