STUDENTS' APPEALS
MILITARY SERVICE SINE DIE ADJOURNMENTS Twenty-one appeals against military service on behalf of approved students, came up for review at last night's sitting of the No. 2 Armed Forces' Appeal Board. Mr. I. J. Goldstine presided, and associated with him were Messrs. W. J. Truscott and T. F. Anderson. The appeals for the students were made by the Director of National Service, and had previously been adjourned for a certain period. In all cases they were adjourned sine die:— The students were: C. Smith, N. J. Rumsey, P. M. Roberts, I. B. Reynolds, J. B. Powell, N. R. Page, D. W. Sullivan (Rev. Brother Borgia), M. G. Segetin, N. C. Theilman. N. S. Annabel!, D. A. Coubrough, A. H. Curtin, J. J. Knwright, H. B. Gray, B. V. Gillespie, W. R. McD. Haresnape (Mrs. I. Haresnape), A. B. N. Howes. G. C. Jacobsen, I. W. Knaggs, D. E. C. Kontze, I. C. R. Luketina. Appeals by Johnston Cardboard Box Co., Ltd., on behalf of the following reservists were adjourned for three months:— A. Howlett, W. L. Whitford, Wm. Wilson.
