Mr. C. T. Halsted, manager in Auckland of Cable and Wireless, Ltd,, will leave for Wellington by the Limited express this evening. Wing-Commander M. A. F. Barnett, director of meteorological services for R.N.Z.A.F., arrived from Wellington this morning. Mr. A. W. Nisbet, Dominion organiser of emergency training arrived from Wellington this morning. Mr. F. Scott Miller, travelling repairs superintendent of the Union Shlp Company, arrived from Wellington this morning by the Limited express. Mr. Eric H. Rhodes has been appointed a director of the New ZeaIn?*!, Insurance Company, Limited, to fill the vacancy on the board caused by the death of Mr. C. V. Houghton |
