The death has occurred of Mr. John Collis Biomfield, aged 63, of Takapuna. Mr. Biomfield joined the advertising staff of the New Zealand Observer in his 'twenties, and later worked for the Free Lance. He founded the Victorian Mirror in Devonport during the Great War but rejoined the Observer staff in 1J22. to remain in that paper's employment until his death. Mr. Blomheid was a brother of the late Mr. W. Biomfield, the well-known cartoon ist, and many of his own. cartoons were printed in the Observer. He is survived by four sons and a daughter. His eldest son is the wellknown professional wrestler, "Lofty" Biomfield.
