MENTION IN DISPATCHES
News that Lieutenant C. P. Thode, of Auckland, has been mentioned in dispatches, has been received by his mother, Mrs. W. I. Thode, 17 Bellevue Road, Mt. Eden. He is the eldest son of the late Mr. P. R. F. Thode, and brother of Lieutenant j! A. Thode, of the ill-fated H.M.A.S. Perth, who is presumed lost.
