I Onrhunja Cricket Association's management ! committee has decided to open the 1942-43 season with a preliminary series of matches at Waikaraka Park on October 31. At least six cood wickets have been made available, and the date for . closing entries for the shield competition has » been postponed in order to give teams shut out from city playing areas an opportunity to play at Waikaraka. . w I It ls proposed to commence shield matches I on November 7.
