MAJOR LEAGUE GAMES The first meeting of the executive committee of the Auckland Baseball Association was held in the Y.M.C.A. last evening. Mr. D. McArthur was elected chairman, and a report was received from the hon. organiser, Mr. J. Benham. It stated there were twelve teams available for a major league, some of the teams coming from the United Nations. Negotiations are in progress for the lease of a football ground close to the city.
