NEW CANADIAN SQUADRON

Rec. 1 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 6. The German news agency says that R.A.F. bombers raided western Germany last night. Some civilian property was damaged and a hospital hit.

The newly-formed French-Cane-, dian Bomber Squadron operated for the first time last night, says British Official Wireless, when it participated in an attack on western Germany. On the outward and homeward journeys, hail, rain, thunderstorms and icing were experienced. The flight engineer of one bomber was temporarily blinded by lightning as he looked out of the astrodome.
