M.T.P. V. RICHMOND
Mr. J. W. Watson, chairman of the Auckland Rugby League board of control, states that at the request of M.T.P. (winner of the A.R.F.U. Gallaher Shield) a match has been arranged for next Saturday at Carlaw Park against Richmond (holder of the Roope Rooster). Mr. Watson adds that irrespective of the M.T.P. players required for the Auckland Rugby representative match against the Third New Zealand Division, the League game will proceed. The gate is to be divided equally between the M.T.P. regimental fund, the St. John Ambulance and the Auckland Rugby League.
