HOME GUARD CONTROL
(P A.) INVERCARGILL, Monday
Two group directors of the Home Guard in Southland, , LieutenantColonel W. Bell, of Invercargill, and Lieutenant-Colonel E. F. Selby. of Gore, have resigned. When interviewed Colonel Bell stated that, in view of information he had received about the future control of the Home Guard, he had been compelled to ask that he be relieved of his position as group director. Colonel Selby said ne had no statement to make.
