Police Superintendent R. R. Ward, of Auckland, will leave for the south this evening by the Limited express.
Mr. G. C. W. Reid will leave for Wellington this evening by the Limited express.
Mr. J. T. Martin, of Wellington, arrived in Auckland this morning bv the Limited and will leave again this evening.
The Hon. F. G. Young, M.L.C., member of the Industrial Emergencv Council, will travel to Wellington by the Limited this evening.
Mr G Grey Campbell and Mr. Douglas Robb will leave this evening to attend a meeting of the board of governors of Massey College.
Mr. C. E. Wilson, who was appointed postmaster at Nearuawahia in 1934, has retired on superannuation.
Professor A. H. Tocker, Professor of Economics at Canterbury University College, has been elected a member of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce.
