GRAIN AND PRODUCE

Ample stocks of Australian wheat are available, but there is no advice of any further shipment. Through store prices range from 7/3 to 7/4 per bushel.

Maize.—Good stocks are held in Auckland, although old season's maize in the Bay of Plenty is now finished. Through store prices for whole maize are from 7/11 to 8/1 per bushel while 10sack lots are available at the special cash-with-order prices for minimum 10-sack lots at 7/4V2 per bushel. Kibbled maize is available at from 8/1 to 8/3 per bushel.

Oats. —The market is steady and the demand quiet, with B Gartons selling at from 5/6 to 5/7 per bushel.

Chaff.—This line is also meeting with a steady demand with Southern prices a little firmer. G. 8.0.5. is selling through store at from £11 15/ to £12 15/ per ton.

Barley.—Ample stocks held are meeting with a steady demand. Prices for clipped barley are from 5/7 to 5/9 and undipped at from 5/2 to 5/4 per bushel.

Barleymeal.—There is a good inquiry with adequate stocks. Prices range from £12 10/ to £13 5/ per ton.

Stockmeal.—Merchants are holding good supplies and through store prices are from £11 17/6 to £12 2/6 per ton.
