LIBERTY LOAN FIRMER There was a good investment demand on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day with sellers quoting sparingly. The insurance section was entirely bare of supplies. Liberty Loan 3 per cents advanced to £99 10/, the market price prior to September 15 when the half-yearly interest was payable. Among Australian stocks A.C.l.'s changed hands again at £2 7/, with more w anted at that level. Auckland Gas at 6/5 were firmer after selling for over a month at a penny less.
