CAR CONVERTED
YOUNG MAN SENT TO GAOL
A tailor's presser, Harold Thomas, a ? i ' P leac, ed guilty to a charge of unlawfully converting to his own use, a motor car valued at £250, when he came before Mr. J. H. Luxford, b -M .in the Police Court to-day. Sub-Inspector MacNamara mentioned that Thomas had previously been in and had only recently been discharged from prison. Appearing for accused Mr. Dickson said Thomas did not drive the car under its own power, but merelv rlnwlTth 1 and , let . 8° a short way down the grade from Emily Place. ~ lu 11 ! 3 ? was sentenced to four months imprisonment.
