OBITUARY
MRS. S. PHILLIPS
The death has occurred of Mrs. Susannah Phillips, aged 86, who was 10° oldest surviving pioneer of the Matakana district. Mrs. Phillips was born in Matakana, and some years after her marriage, took up residence at Snell's Beach. .She is survived by five daughters and 15 grandchildren.
