EXEMPTION SOUGHT
NO. 2 BOARD CASES
Appeals for exemption from wiili.' tary service were dealt with at a sitting of the No. 2 Armed Force Appeal Board yesterday afternoon. An adjournment sine die was granted in respect of the following appeals by or on behalf of reservists the names of appellants being shown in parentheses: John Gardner JonesParry (Winstone, Ltd.); J. A. Col- - (Mrs. R. Colquhoun); Tmlas Martin Faulkner (H. L. Gaudston); Richard Blackett Atkinson (W. Sutherland and Co., Ltd.); Edward Pearson Davison (Observer Print™ Works, Ltd.); Wallace Heron (Mess Mason and Porter).
Appeals by or on behalf of* following reservists were adjoins, to a later date: M. Macfarlane (PaR Bags, Ltd.); Edmond Tyne (Bay® Products, Ltd.); George Melville Seiton (district engineer, P.W.DJ; A. A. Worrall (Tasman Empire Airways); Frederick Harold Rose, Eric Arthur Hemming, Nancy Bowem (D. Henry and Co., Ltd.). .
The following appeals by or on behalf of reservists were dismissed, an order being made that calling up be not before a certain date: Vincent John Bosnick (M. Bosnick and Sots, Pty.); James George Morgan (Bridgens and Co., Ltd.), The appeal of Modern Sheet Metal Works, Ltd., on behalf of Arthur John Dineen, was dismissed.
The board recommended the release from the forces of the foßcnring reservists: Keith E. Mushet CW, Sutherland and Co., LtdJ; E. (1 Spencer (G. H. Edwards and CW Patrick • Charles Ryan (Dorotty Ryan); Harry Anderson (R. and V. Hellaby, Ltd.); C. J. McLean IP. C McLean).
