According to a British official wireless message, the only negro general in the United States Army, Brigadier - General Benjamin O. Davis, has arrived in England for duty. J-le joined the army in 1898 and served thoughout the SpanishAmerican War and the last war. He is engaged on an inspection trip, during which he will give special attention to the negro troops.
