CIVIL DEFENCE WORKERS
NEW SCHEME IN BRITAIN Rec. noon. RUt ~SY, Aug. 24. Hundreds of part-time ivil defence workers are to be release from duty in the next few weeks i >r training at anti-aircraft gun sites in the metropolitan area. They i to be attached to the Home Gua .1 units and in event of invasion will return to civil defence work.
