REPORTED MISSING
PILOT AND LIEUTENANT
SEARCH FOR R.X.Z.A.F. PLANE (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. An aircraft of the R.N.Z.A.F. engaged in co-operation with a Home Guard unit yesterday m_ ning, has been reported missing. The pilot was Pilot Officer Mason Irvine Elliott, and with him as a passenger was Lieutenant Harold Francis Bollard. An extensive search for the machine is being maintained. The wives of the missing men—Mrs. K. Elliott and Mrs. H, E. Bollard— reside in Wellington.
