AUCKLANDER MISSING
Advice has been received by Mr. and Mrs. C. Barker, of Paice Avenue, Mount Eden, that their son. Private Claude Relton Barker, was serving with the Australian forces, has been reported missing in Java. Born in. New Zealand. Private Barker was educated at Mount Albert and Onehunga schools. Ho was a keen swimmer and footballer. Prior to leaving for Australia in 2934, he was employed by Marriotts. Limited.
