SLIP ON MAIN TRUNK

DELAY TO EXPRESSES

_ Railway travel on the Main Trunk, line has been considerably dislocated through a slip on the line at Mataroa, seven miles north of Taihape. The ordinary express, due to reach Auckland at 7 o'clock this morning and the Limited express, due to an ive at 9.30, were both late in reaching Auckland from Wellington to-day.

Advice has been received bv the railway department in Auckland that the slip was cleared by 5 o'clock this morning.
