MORE ALIENS ARRESTED United Press Association—Copyright Rec. 9.30 WASHINGTON, Aug. 9. Six of the eight convicted Nazi saboteurs were executed to-day. Ernest Burger was sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labour, while George John Dasch was sentenced to 30 years' hard labour. These two were spared the death sentence because they assisted the Government in the apprehension and conviction of the others. The executions were carried otit in the electric chair.
Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation have seized 33 dangerous enemy aliens in the New York City area. The group included 24 German men, one German woman, six Italians, one Japanese and one Hungarian. The Hungarian was employed by a Government agency as a radio instructor. His students included members of the Army Signal Corps. The Japanese declared that he had served three years in the Japanese army and wanted to return home in order to fight against the United States.
