TORPEDOED TANKER
ARGENTINA'S PROTEST Rec. 1 p.m. BUENOS AYRES. June 8. Argentina is protesting to Germany and Italy concerning the torpedoing of the tanker Victoria. The tanker Victoria, reported torpedoed on April 21, was the first Argentine shipping casualty since December 7. She was badly damaged and proceeded on her way to New York under difficult conditions.
