MUSTARD SUBSTITUTE
With supplies of mustard hard to procure, many people have seized upon an alternative. It is horseradish, which is being grown for mincing and used for the same purpose as mustard. When minced very finely, horse-radish becomes a white, powdery substance, and can be prepared to form a condiment similar in taste to mustard.
