PROSPECTS FOR MONDAY
The rearrangement of the rooms under the Carlaw Park grandstand, owing lo the board giving three rooms to the L'.P.S. lire service, was discussed at last evening's meeting of the Auckland Rugby League. Board of Control.
1 lie question of a representative match at headquarters on .Monday next was introduced by the chairman, Mr. J. W. Wat son. .Members agreed that, seeing no other sport was having games, it was desirable to provide some attraction for the holiday public. During the evening, Huntly was communicated with by telephone. and after further discussion it was decided to leave the decision until this evening, when South Auckland will be in a better position to see if they can get a leant.
1 he question of a reserve grade was further deferred for a fortnight. Senior fixtures for Saturday are:—Richmond v. Ciji-Olahuhu. Carlaw Park No. 1, 3 p.m.. Mr. S. B.liman: Manukau v. Mount Albert-Kcwton, Carlaw Park No. 1. 1.43 p.m.. Mr. E. Pope; Ponsonoy v. Marist-North Shore, Carlaw Park No 2 1.4 a p.m., Mr. H. Tate.
