Guerillas Take Heavy Toll Of
Axis Divisions
BULGARIANS FIGHT WITH HUNS
Rec. 1 p.m. LONDON, May 15. The Yugoslav Government in London reports that the Italians, Germans and Croats launched an offensive against the Yugoslav guerilla leader, General Mihailovich in Bosnia, some days ago. General Mihailovich, after inflicting severe losses, fell back into the mountains, where resolute resistance is being continued. Simultaneously with the Bosnian offensive, Germans and Bulgarians attacked in Southern Serbia, where fierce fighting is going on. Bulgarians were in action against tne Yugoslavs for the first time. It is reported that they are compensating for their refusal to fight against the Russians by assisting to subdue the Yugoslavs. . „ The New Zealand High Commissioner, Mr. W. J. Jordan, has sent the Prime Minister of Yugoslavia a gift of £800 from the Yugoslavs of New Zealand and the New Zealand National Patriotic Fund.
