Mr. F. G. Young, a member of the Industrial Emergency Council, leaves Auckland by the Limited to-morrow. Mr. J. C. Fletcher, Commissioner of Defence Construction, arrived in Auckland by the Limited this ingMr. William lan Gunn was admitted as a barrister and solicitor to the Supreme Court of New Zealand by Mr. Justice Fair on the motion of Mr. J. L. Conlan. Mr. P. J. Twomey, of the Mafcogai Leper Trust Board, is severing his connection with the Christchurch Gas Company in order to devote his full time to leper work.
