EIGHT MEN SENTENCED
(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. Eight men who admitted or were found guilty of offences concerning a girl of 15 were sentenced by Mr Justice Northcroft to-day. Charles Christensen, labourer, aeed 62. was sentenced to a year's imprisonment with hard labour and the other seven were ordered to come up for sentence within 1? months if called on. Thev wereLaurence Philip Dolan, found guiltv of carnal knowledge; John Frederick E.lston, pleaded guilty to indecent assault; Charles Edward Evans, pleaded guilty to indecent assault; Harry Norton Ascot Hell, pleaded guilty to indecent assault; Thomas Joseph Thomson, pleaded guiltv to carnal knowledge; Egbert Charles Pegg, pleaded guilty to indecent assault; Neville Athelston Tregear, •pleaded guilty to carjaal .knowledge.
