SYDNEY WATER LOAN
The Sydney Metropolitan Water. Sewerage and Drainage Board received subscriptions of almost £600.000. or about 80 per cent, of its £3 12 6 per cent loan of £750,000. which closed last Saturday, the due date. The loan was issued at par and with a currency of 13 years. The underwriters took up the balance of about £ 150.000.
