WHAT'S ON TO-MORROW
FOOTBALL CODES AND HOCKEY GALLAHER SHIELD UNDER WAV Soccer, League and hockey championships will be continued to-morrow, while a start will be made ~oy me Auckland Rugby Union with the Gallaher Shield competition. There are three first division games arranged for Eden Park and one at Devonport Domain (Garrison v. Technical Old Boys>. Pride of place at headquarters has been given to C.R.O. v. Air Force No. 2, the curtain-raiser being A.S.C. v. Manukau. The other Eden Park fixture is M.T.P. v. Grafton-Ponsonby.
At Carlaw Park the principal match is Richmond v. Ponsonby, which will be preceded by a contest in which two sets of combined XIII.'s will be opponents. They are City-Otahuhu and Newton-Mouut Albert.
The sides drawn for No. 2 ground at three o'clock are Manukau v. North ShoreMarist. Last year Shore won the championship and Maijukau the champion of champions tourney.
The Auckland Football Association has allotted Blandford Park to the Camp and Air Force Xl.'s for the inauguration of the Leo Munro Cup competition. The curtain-raiser will be a senior championship game between Army and Comrades.
Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys A visits St. Helier's to play Eastern Suburbs; the B's meet North Shore at Devonport; Metro College (1941 champion of champions) goes into action at the Domain against C.R.0.; while Ponsonby will endeavour to "torpedo" the Navy at Victoria Park.
