AUCKLAND HOSPITAL
RESTRICTION" ON" VISITING
The chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board, Mr. Allan J. Moody said this morning that, owing to sporadic cases of cerebro-spinal meningitis, the Auckland Hospital would remain closed to the general public, except for an hour on Sunday afternoon. He added that, in addition to patients being treated in Auckland, cases had been reported m other parts of New Zealand, and it was not desirable in the public interest that any risks should be taken at the Auckland Hospital.
