OVERSEAS SERVICE
CANADIAN SOLDIERS' VOTE OTTAWA, May 6. Members of. the Canadian armed forces at home and overseas cast 251,118 "yes" votes and 60,885 "no" in the recent manpower plebiscite to release the Government from its election pledge that there would be no conscription for overseas service. The Dominion votes, including the services, now stand at 2,921,000 "yes" and 1,609,000 "no." There are still 798 polls to be returned.
