MENTAL CASE
MAORI ON MURDER CHARGE
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. A jury in the Supreme Court today found on the evidence presented to it that Rakapa Nukunuku, aged 21. Maori farm labourer, was incapable of pleading to an indictment for the murder of Miss Mary Currie at Tltahl Bay on January 28. The prisoner was ordered to be detaihed in a mental hospital until the pleasure of the Minister of lustice is known.
