ELLERSLIE LEAGUE CLUB
At the opening of the annual meeting of the Ellerslie United Rugby League Club, which has 21 members on active service, solemn tribute was paid to the memory of Private G. B. Osborne and Gunner E. J. Osborne, killed In action. The report reviewed the performances of the six grade teams. including schoolboys. special reference being made to the senior B thirteen and the seventh grade players. The latter, which won the championship and knockout, were presented with caps by Mr. T. Kane, representing the junior control board. Pleasure was expressed at the attendance of Mr. George Chapman, a life member.
