MISSING ON H.M.S. EXETER
SIGNALLER N. JAFFE
Signaller Nathan Jaffe is reported missing from H.M.S. Exeter, according to advice received bv his parents Mr. and Mrs. R. Jaffe, of Heme Bay. Signaller Jaffe, who is 23 years of
age, was born in Auckland and educated at the Bayfield Primary School, the Auckland Grammar School and the Auckland University College. He represented University at hockey and tennis, and was also a keen yachtsman. Soon after the outbreak of war, he volnnteered for service and, shortly after completing his territorial training, topped his entrance examination for the Navy He left New Zealand for service overseas last September, and had been in the Exeter a month.
