CAXXOX-FIRIXG FIGHTERS Rec. 1 p.m. LONDON, Mar. 6. It is now permissible to describe the Westland Whirlwind singleseater fighter, which has been on the secret list since it went into service two years ago, says The Times aeronautical correspondent. It is powered with two 850 h.p. Rolls-Royce Peregrine engines, and its armament consists of four 20-mi."imetre cannons in the nose.
