DAMAGE TO TOBACCO
FKOBTB IN NELSON AREA (P.A.) NELSON, this day. As a result of two unseasonable frosts earlier this week some Motueka Valley growers have lost as much as half their tobacco crops. Representatives of the tobacco companies are now inspecting the damage. Fortunately the frosts were localised and it is not thought thai. the loss over the whole district will be unduly heavy
