RESIDENTS FAREWELLED
At the residence of Mr. and Mrs. James Murray, Massey Road, Manurewa, representatives of various institutions in the borough met to mark the occasion of their impending departure from the district after their retirement from business owing to health reasons. In presenting Mr. and Mrs. Murray each with an inscribed gold wristlet watch, the Mayor, Mr. W. J. Ferguson, referred to the high esteem in which they were held by the residents of Manurewa and expressed the hope that they would soon be rest 1 to health.
