INDUCTION AT ONEHUNGA
The formal induction of the new minister of the Onehunga Presbyterian Church, the Rev. A. j. H. Dow, formerly of Gisborne, was performed on Thursday night by the moderator of the Auckland Presbytery, the Rev. J. D. Smith. He succeeds the Rev. W. J. Pellow. The Rev. D. N. Pryor preached the sermon and the Rev. D. J. A. Shaw addressed the new minister and the congregation. A social gathering followed the induction service and addresses were made by representatives of church and townspeople. Messages were received from two past ministers, the Very Rev. ;>. D, Sqott and the Rev. W. J. Pellow, and the Rev. Dow's former charge at Gisborne.
