LAST NIGHT'S SHOPPING
The last late shopping night in the city produced good business in many shops and there was a noticeable increase in activity among the crowds which thronged the streets. A further conference of retailers will be held early next week, and in the meantime shops normallv starting work at 0 a.m. will continue to do so. Transport services will not be affected.
